Book a demo or a call

Arrange a clinical demonstration of the tVNS device, a case-discussion call with Anatomical Concepts UK, or a service visit. UK healthcare professionals only.

For healthcare professionals. This zone contains clinical information intended for UK healthcare professionals. The content assumes familiarity with neuromodulation concepts and should not be used as a substitute for clinical judgement.

Book a demo or a call

If you want to see the tVNS device in person, try it on your own ear, or talk through a specific case with someone who has worked with the device and the wider electrical-stimulation literature for a long time, we are happy to arrange that.

The UK support is run directly by Anatomical Concepts UK, not routed through the manufacturer in Germany. When you call, you speak to someone who can answer the clinical questions, the practical questions, and the regulatory questions in one conversation.

What we currently offer

The exact shape of our demonstration programme is being settled with the manufacturer over the coming weeks. In the interim, the four options below are available now, and the simplest way to arrange any of them is to call or email us.

A telephone or video call to discuss a specific case

If you have a patient in mind, the most useful first conversation is usually a 20 to 30 minute call where we work through the indication, the suitability of the patient, the practical questions about parameter selection, and the realistic expectations. We can do this at short notice.

A clinic or service visit

We are based in Scotland and travel UK-wide. If you would prefer to see the device in person, fit the electrode on your own ear, and have a face-to-face conversation, we can arrange a visit. Diary permitting, this is usually within two to four weeks of an enquiry.

A teaching slot for a multidisciplinary team

If your team would benefit from a single-session teaching slot covering the mechanism, the evidence, and the practical clinical detail, we can deliver that as part of a service visit or as a video session. Typical session length is 45 to 60 minutes plus questions.

A loaned device for clinical familiarisation

In selected circumstances we can arrange a short loan of a tVNS® device so that a clinician can familiarise themselves with the fit, the controls, and the perceived stimulus. This is most appropriate for clinicians who are likely to prescribe the device subsequently and who want hands-on familiarity before doing so.

What to tell us when you get in touch

Three pieces of information make any of the above easier to arrange:

  1. The indication you are interested in. Epilepsy, depression, migraine, Prader-Willi syndrome, or an off-label context.
  2. What you would find most useful. A case discussion, a hands-on session, a teaching slot for the team, or a quiet 30 minutes to read the device with one of us in the room.
  3. A rough timeframe. Whether you want to talk this week, next month, or in the new year. We are not at full capacity and most reasonable timeframes can be accommodated.

What this is not

For clarity:

  • This is not a sales call. We will discuss whether tVNS is appropriate for your patient or your service. If it is not, we will say so.
  • This is not a substitute for the published literature. The evidence library and the practice guide carry the detail. The conversation supplements them, it does not replace them.
  • This is not a regulated training programme. We are not currently CPD-accredited for tVNS specifically. If accreditation would be material to you, tell us and we will consider whether the demand justifies setting one up.

A note on the current commercial position

We are settling the formal demonstration programme with the manufacturer in the near term, including the question of whether longer device-loan periods will be available routinely or only by exception, and the pricing structure for any associated services. The four options listed above are available now. If you ask for something we do not currently offer, we will tell you and, if it sounds reasonable, look at whether we can accommodate it as a one-off.
